Benzel-Busch and Audi Meadowlands Supports New Jersey’s Local Baseball Leagues, Getting Kids Out on the Diamond

Posted on May 1, 2012

Here at Benzel-Busch and Audi Meadowlands, we always get excited when baseball season rolls around, and not just because going to the ballpark is the best way to pass a spring day. We love baseball season because it gets kids outside, working together as a team. And anyone who was part of a sports team as a kid knows it’s an experience that sticks with you for the rest of your life.

For years we have supported local New Jersey baseball leagues. Our contributions go to buying uniforms and equipment for the Washington Township Baseball and Softball Association, the Norwood Baseball and Softball League, the New Jersey Rocz/Diamondbacks, and the Don Bosco Prep High School Home Run Club, just to name a few.

The leagues we support are located in Bergen County, New Jersey, and have teams for both boys and girls—from little league through high school. Being involved with these teams means a lot to us, and some of our very own even lend an extra hand by coaching several times a week.

We have also been lucky enough to build an affiliation with the Yankees over the years. It’s an affiliation that we like to share with the youth leagues by donating Yankees box seats for fundraisers, which contribute to sending teams to tournaments in and around the Bergen County area.

To all our local teams: Have a great season!
