Benzel-Busch smart center Partners with Tenafly Education Foundation for their Annual 5K and Dog Walk Fundraiser | Benzel-Busch NJ car dealer

This year’s 5K and dog walk was attended by 4,000 runners, walkers and pups. All told, the race raised an impressive $40,000 for the Tenafly Education Foundation (TEF).

TEF is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing Tenafly schools through grants to teachers for innovative projects and programs. So when the school budget falls short, TEF steps in. These are programs that have an indelible effect on our public schools.

Every year, the 5K and dog walk attracts thousands of New Jerseyans. It has grown tremendously over the years and is a real sight to see. After our smart car from smart center Englewood led streams of runners from the starting line, more than 100 dog owners followed with their dogs on the 5K course. And the day continued with an open Family Health and Fitness Fair at the Tenafly Middle School gym, and other fun events—including a dog parade, a 1-mile fun run, 1-mile dog fun run, and 1-mile challenger fun run for children and adults with special needs.

The smart car and Benzel-Busch’s smart center Englewood Brand Representatives also continued to be on hand for walkarounds of the vehicle and test drives throughout the duration of the fair.

We were grateful to be a part of this great event that draws such amazing support and enthusiasm from the area. And we look forward to years to come!
