For years we have supported local New Jersey baseball leagues. Our contributions go to buying uniforms and equipment for teams such as the Washington Township Baseball and Softball Association.
We are proud to announce that the Benzel-Busch–sponsored Little League recreational baseball team of Washington Township (NJ) won the town championship on June 11! We want to wish them a big congratulations for their terrific season!
The boys played against a very competitive team, sponsored by Pizza Express. They previously held a 12-3 record. But nothing was able to hold back Team Benzel-Busch. Coached by John Beites, Jeff Pappas and Todd Martin, Washington Township who won the game 9 to 1.
Each of the boys received a trophy, and their win will be celebrated with a team dinner organized by the coaches. The team thanked Benzel-Busch for their continued support and generosity.
