Not All Body Shops are Created Equal

I would like to explain the benefits of having your vehicle repaired at our facility. My name is Robert Bruce and I am the Body Shop Manager at Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp.

Here at Benzel-Busch we carry on the Heritage and Pride of the brands we represent into all of the work that we do. I can assure you that your vehicle will be repaired back to original factory specifications and will undergo a rigorous quality control inspection to ensure the fit and finish is perfect.

Some of the most frequently asked questions:

Q: Is it more expensive to have my vehicle repaired at a dealership?

A: NO, This is the most popular misconception regarding repairs at the dealer; we negotiate with the insurance companies to ensure your vehicle is repaired properly and brought back to the original factory specifications.

Q: Do you provide a warranty on the repairs performed?

A: YES, we do provide limited warranty on all repairs completed at our facility.

Q: Do I have the right to choose what facility will repair my car?

A: YES, It is your legal right to choose where your vehicle will be repaired not the insurance company. It is an illegal act for an insurance company to “steer” or dictate where your vehicle can be repaired

Q: Why should I bring my vehicle to you and not to the insurance companies Direct Repair Facility (D.R.P)?

A: A D.R.P shop works for the insurance company and DOES NOT have your best interest in mind. That is why most insurance companies try to steer you away from coming to a dealer facility. When you bring your vehicle to us we are an advocate for you. We make sure that your vehicle is repaired properly and we will only use O.E.M replacement parts. (Original equipment from manufacturer).

Q: Will a D.R.P facility use O.E.M parts?

A: Depending on the insurance company usually not, as a matter of fact, some insurance companies not only use aftermarket parts but will also use junk yard (used) parts.

Q: Are all body shops Mercedes-Benz certified?

A: NO, This is one of the most important benefits that you will receive when you have your vehicle repaired with us, all of our structural repairs are completed at our certified facilities. Certified means that the technicians that work on your vehicle receive ongoing training from the factory.

Q: Do you provide a Rental Vehicle?

A: Depending upon your insurance policy, most people have an allowance for a rental vehicle. Most insurance companies will even have a direct bill policy with the rental company. We can even arrange for Enterprise to pick you up from our facility.

In these tough economic times we have introduced a new, cost efficient way to repair small dings and dents in certain areas of the vehicle where the paint is not damaged. Paintless dent removal is considerably less labor intensive than traditional body work and often times can be done while you wait during normal business hours or you can make an appointment and have it completed at your next service visit.

We provide free body shop estimates by appointment. If you are not able to bring your vehicle during the available hours please contact us and you can be assured we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.
