Offering the most efficient and advanced hybrid technology available in the Mercedes C-Class, the new C350e coming this September combines a four-cylinder gasoline engine coupled with a robust electric motor. This dynamic pairing translates to a world-class driving experience that reduces fuel consumption in every possible way. Not only does the C350e’s high-voltage lithium ion battery convert energy created while the car is braking into useable electric energy, but it’s also chargeable via external power sources. The result is a hybrid vehicle that can make trips up to twenty miles long while in its purely electric driving mode.
Environmentally friendly and forward-thinking as it may be, the C350e cuts no corners when it comes to its thrilling driving experience. Behind the wheel, drivers are transported by the C350e’s sporty, nimble feel. With a total system output of 275 horsepower between its engine and electric motor, a top speed of 130 mph, and a zero to 60 time of just 5.9 seconds, the C-Class’s newest member positively rips across the road. And the vehicle’s performance is all the more impressive given its motor’s whisper-quiet start.
The C350e’s driving experience is also highly customizable thanks to its unique transmission mode technology, allowing each individual driver to tailor the various functions to their liking. Individual, Sport, Sport+, Comfort, and Economy transmission modes provide drivers with optimum control over the road. In addition, four adjustable engine modes allow drivers to adjust the hybrid technology’s use toward their own ends. All of a sudden, the precise ratios that determine the power and efficiency of your vehicle are at your own fingertips.
As drivers have come to expect, the C350e retains the popular Mercedes-Benz C-Class’s signature comfortable sedan-like atmosphere and interior experience. In addition to familiar features, the C350e sports a comfortable AIRMATIC self-levelling suspension that minimizes disturbances and vibrations on uneven roads. And due to its electrically powered cooling and heating implements, the C350e now features revolutionary Pre-Entry Climate Control as a standard feature, allowing drivers and passengers to heat or cool the vehicle to the powerful temperature remotely—before even stepping foot inside.
The C350e also boasts Mercedes-Benz’s lauded internet-capable infotainment systems and a Bluetooth interface that allows for hands-free calling and audio streaming.
