As you may know, Benzel-Busch is more than another Mercedes dealer in NJ. For over forty years, our dealership remains passionate about supporting our local community, and helping to make it a better place to live, work, raise our children…and drive.
Case in point: Benzel-Busch has long been a champion of The Rotary Club of Englewood. We support the Club’s crucial work in assisting local organizations such as Bergen Family Center, Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative, and Center for Food Action. Part of our support is to help sponsor key events, such as the Annual Community Awards Dinner held on March 15.
Like us, this event honors people who have dedicated themselves to Englewood and the surrounding community. This year, the dinner, held at the First Presbyterian Church, acknowledged two honorees: The Community Chest serving Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs, and Michael Prigoff, Esq. of Lebson & Prigoff, LLC., a third-generation Rotarian.
120 guests attended the steak dinner and awards gala, representing 20% more than last year. On behalf of New Jersey Assembly Members Gordon Johnson and Valerie Huttle and the entire New Jersey Assembly, Englewood Mayor Frank Huttle presented a proclamation to both honorees.
“We greatly appreciate the support of Benzel-Busch as one of the largest companies in Englewood, and one of the most prestigious companies in Northern New Jersey,” said Aleta Frezzell, one of the event’s co-chairs. “The support of Benzel-Busch provided needed funds, but it also signifies the dealership’s endorsement of our work,” added Joan Van Alstyne Johnson, her co-chair.
