Benzel-Busch will spread awareness as well as raise funds for Englewood Hospital and The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center
In honor of their long-term partnership with Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp is proud to support the work of the Hospital and The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. All month long, Benzel-Busch will participate by not only spreading awareness but by having its employees volunteer with opportunities that the hospital presents. Additionally, Benzel-Busch will host the Mercedes-Benz Open Haus event on October 16th and will offer participants an opportunity to learn more about the work of the hospital and give back.
The Open Haus will take place from noon until 8pm and allow guests to visit the dealership, see the all-new Mercedes-Benz 2015 C-Class and GLA-Class SUV, starting at $33,300, and receive a $500 certificate off the purchase of most Mercedes-Benz models. Guests who purchase a new vehicle the day of the event will also receive a two-year Pre-Paid Maintenance Plan at no additional cost, valued starting at $900 up to $1,550, depending on the model. A portion of the proceeds from the Open Haus will be donated to benefit the work of Englewood Hospital’s Leslie Simon Breast Care Center. Englewood Hospital will also have staff on hand at the dealership in the afternoon to educate guests about breast cancer.
Benzel-Busch’s longstanding partnership with The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center dates back several years and includes sponsorship of Kennedy Funding’s Golf Outings, which also benefit The Center. “We are honored to help fulfill the mission of The Center and invite you to join us in raising awareness about breast cancer,” says Joseph Agresta, President of Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp. “It is rare that one can say that the best breast cancer treatment center is in their backyard. We would like to take advantage of that by making known the great work of Englewood Hospital and The Center, raising awareness about breast cancer, and making a sizable contribution to their continued efforts.”
The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center at Englewood Hospital, which began in 1991, is recognized by the U.S. Congress as a national model of excellence for breast cancer diagnosis and management. As evidenced by their impressive success rates, The Center detects early stage breast cancer for women, allowing the best chance to live a long and healthy life. The Center houses one of the only all- digital mammography centers in New Jersey, combining state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and evaluations in hours, not days. The Breast MRI System offers unprecedented 3D imaging for high-risk patients and those who need a more precise exam – adding to peace of mind- and the experienced physicians, oncologists, radiologists and cytopathologists find more early stage breast cancer (Stage 0) than any other New Jersey facility.
