Exhilarating Driving. Effortless Charging.

Thinking about making the switch from a gas-powered vehicle to an Audi e-tron? If so, it’s important to understand how to charge your vehicle at home and on the road.

Charging at home.

Your new Audi e-tron comes standard with the Compact Charging System (CCS)—giving you the ability to charge your Audi from a standard household outlet. This is referred to as Level 1 charging. While CCS is convenient, a permanent charger is recommended for at-home charging.

Take at-home charging to the next level.

Level 2 charging requires the installation of a permanent home charger. To make this process easy for you, Audi has developed professional partnerships with Electrify America and Qmerit. With your permanent charger, your Audi will be charged and ready to go in the time it takes to get a good night’s sleep. What’s more, you can set up your charger to run when electricity rates are lower.

Charging on the road.

Based on data from the U.S. Department of Energy, there are more than 46,000 public charging stations compatible with your Audi e-tron. To find stations near you, access the PlugShare map. At these lightning-fast charging stations, you can charge your Audi e-tron from 5 percent to 80 percent in less than thirty minutes.

Free charging for two years.

New 2023 Audi e-tron models include two years of free charging at Electrify America fast-charging stations across the country. Whether driving through the city or heading out on a road trip, you’ll be able to recharge quickly, conveniently, and now affordably.

Take charge of your charging.

With the myAudi app, you can turn charging on or off and check your battery level before hitting the road. That’s just the beginning. The myAudi app also lets you lock or unlock your vehicle from anywhere, schedule service, and locate your vehicle if you forget where you parked it.
